Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Compliance Officer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our company's practices comply with applicable law and regulations, creating protocols, and conducting audits to maintain compliance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with different departments to ensure compliance is integrated into daily operations.
• Provide ongoing compliance advice and assistance to employees.
• Review and update compliance policies and procedures regularly.
• Assist in the formulation of compliance strategies.
• Keep current with changes in legislation that could impact the organization.
• Actively participate in internal and external audits.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Legal Studies, or a related field
• Relevant compliance certifications preferred

Experience

• 4 years of experience in a compliance role or similar

• Compliance Software Proficiency

Certifications

• ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Management Systems

Languages

• English: Fluent
