Job Description

As a Shoe Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production of shoe components. Your responsibilities will include operating machinery, trimming and cutting metal die components, and ensuring adherence to quality standards. We are looking for detail-oriented individuals with experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Regularly audits and adjusts machine settings to ensure optimal performance.
• Participates in team meetings to discuss production improvements.
• Trains new operators on machinery and best practices.
• Reports all safety incidents and near misses to the supervisor promptly.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Technical training in CNC machining is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in die trimming.

Technical Skills

• CNC machining experience
• Use of heavy machinery

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with welding and fabrication: Knowledge of welding processes to assist in production.
