General Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled General Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will contribute towards various engineering projects, utilizing your expertise to enhance designs and processes. Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution of engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Recommend improvements to designs and processes based on analyses.
• Prepare reports and documentation for regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate effectively with other engineering disciplines.
• Identify risks and devise strategies to mitigate them.
• Assist in training and development of engineering team members.
• Evaluate vendor proposals and support procurement decisions.
• Stay current with technological advances in the engineering field.
• Participate in industry events and knowledge-sharing activities.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• Professional Engineer (PrEng) qualification is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in engineering roles
