Job Description

In the role of Buncher Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the buncher machine to efficiently cut and gather trees in our logging operations. This position is ideal for individuals who are skilled in heavy machinery and are committed to following strict safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate the buncher machine effectively for tree felling and gathering.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on the buncher machinery.
• Maintain accurate records of production and machine maintenance.
• Follow all safety protocols during logging operations.
• Communicate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Participate in team training and safety meetings.
• Adhere to company policies regarding environmental practices.
• Assist in the onboarding and training of new staff as needed.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Buncher Operator Certification
• Valid driver's license

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in logging operations.
