Landscape Architect

Job Description

Join our team as a Landscape Architect, where you will be responsible for designing functional, aesthetic outdoor spaces. You will work on a variety of projects, from residential gardens to public parks. The role requires collaboration with clients, engineers, and other professionals to bring innovative designs to life.

Responsibilities

• Sketch and present landscape concepts using various design techniques.
• Assess project sites to determine their suitability for intended designs.
• Work closely with team members on multi-disciplinary design projects.
• Create strong relationships with suppliers and contractors for project success.
• Establish maintenance schedules and provide ongoing support to clients post-project.
• Incorporate sustainable practices into all landscape designs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Design or other relevant fields
• Master's degree in Landscape Architecture is an asset

Experience

• 5+ years of industry experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Adobe Creative Suite
• 3D Modeling Software

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Negotiation

Certifications

• LEED Green Associate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• LEED Certification: Certification in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design is preferred.
• Familiarity with local flora and fauna: In-depth knowledge of the regional ecosystem and indigenous plant species.
