We are seeking a detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in identifying potential threats, conducting risk assessments, and implementing security measures to safeguard our digital environments. You'll collaborate with IT teams to develop protocols that minimize the risk of breaches while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct penetration tests and security audits.
• Develop and implement security awareness programs for employees.
• Monitor current threats and analyze potential risk to the organization.
• Collaborate with external vendors for security solutions.
• Prepare detailed reports for management on security incidents.
• Research and evaluate new security technologies.
• Assist in the disaster recovery planning process.
• Engage with law enforcement when necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Certifications in Cybersecurity are preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in information security
