Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Transport Coordinator to join our logistics team in Durban. The role involves overseeing transportation operations, coordinating delivery schedules, and optimizing routes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics management and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily transport activities and ensure all deliveries are executed on time.
• Liaise with internal teams to improve overall transport operations.
• Analyze transport performance and report findings to management.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
• Assist in freight negotiations and cost analysis.
• Keep records of vehicle maintenance schedules and driver performance.
• Ensure that all transport vehicles comply with health and safety standards.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Logistics or equivalent

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in transport coordination
