Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Animal Husbandry Manager to oversee our animal care operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal husbandry, with the ability to manage and lead a team effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic planning for livestock management and care.
  • Develop relationships with local farmers and educational institutions for best practice sharing.
  • Monitor animal behaviour and well-being, making adjustments to care as needed.
  • Investigate and resolve any issues related to animal care and staff performance.
  • Support research initiatives aimed at improving animal health and productivity.
  • Engage in sustainable farming practices to enhance productivity and care.
  • Present reports and updates to senior management on operations.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of market trends and technological advancements relevant to animal husbandry.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, or related field
Experience
  • Extensive experience in managing farm operations will be advantageous.
