Construction and Building Inspector

Job Description

We are currently seeking a qualified Construction and Building Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections on pressure vessels, ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards, and preparing detailed inspection reports.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate pressure vessels, piping systems, and construction materials for compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques as required.
• Coordinate with contractors to schedule inspections and ensure timely compliance.
• Participate in safety meetings and contribute to continuous improvement discussions.
• Assist in the implementation of risk management strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and recommendations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Additional certifications in quality control or safety inspection are beneficial.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience inspecting industrial equipment.

• Quality Control Auditing

Certifications

• Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
• Any relevant quality control certifications are a plus.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Health and Safety Regulations: Knowledge of and compliance with local health and safety regulations in construction.
• Experience with Inspection Technology: Familiarity with the latest inspection technologies and software used in the industry.
