Job Description

As a Yard Person at XYZ Construction, you'll be responsible for maintaining the yard area, managing inventory, and ensuring a safe and organized work environment. This role is critical in supporting the overall operations of our construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and organize the yard to ensure all materials are properly stored.
• Load and unload goods efficiently using appropriate equipment.
• Coordinate with the procurement team on material needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures.
• Actively participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
• Maintain an accurate inventory through regular checks.
• Assist in the operation of forklifts and other yard machinery.
• Support overall site operations through effective teamwork.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in a yard or warehouse environment is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Forklift Operation

Certifications

• Valid Forklift License

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
