Warehouse Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to oversee our operations in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will manage a team and ensure the efficient operation of our warehouse. Your role will include inventory management, order processing, and maintaining high standards of health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Plan and allocate resources to meet shifts and operational demands.
• Work closely with the logistics team to optimize transport routes.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling processes within the warehouse.
• Ensure the maintenance and proper usage of warehouse equipment.
• Foster a positive work environment to enhance team performance.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Logistics Management or equivalent

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment

Technical Skills

• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Forklift Operation

Soft Skills

• Time Management
• Team Collaboration

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Supply Chain Software: Familiarity with software tools to enhance supply chain efficiency.
