As a Cloud Engineer in Johannesburg, your expertise in AWS will be pivotal in developing and maintaining our cloud services. You will be tasked with ensuring robust cloud infrastructure and enhancing system performance for various applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop scripts for cloud automation to streamline deployment processes.
• Monitor and analyze usage metrics to optimize costs in cloud environments.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for AWS services.
• Work with security teams to enhance cloud security measures.
• Participate in disaster recovery and incident response planning.
• Mentor junior engineers in cloud best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• AWS certification is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering, specifically with AWS
