Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Technician who will play a critical role in maintaining the technology infrastructure of our organization in Johannesburg. You will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, providing end-user support, and ensuring that computer systems run smoothly. Responsibilities

• Respond to IT support tickets and resolve inquiries in a timely manner.
• Provide on-site and remote support to users.
• Conduct regular checks on IT systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Update software and resolve compatibility issues.
• Assist in developing user guides and training materials.
• Monitor IT resource usage and suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with departmental teams to meet their IT needs.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to improving IT processes.
• Ensure the security of IT systems by implementing best practices.
• Provide feedback on improving user experience.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Information Technology or a related field
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a technical support role

Languages
