Penetration Tester

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Penetration Tester to join our cybersecurity team in Cape Town. As a Penetration Tester, you will conduct tests to identify vulnerabilities within client systems, applications, and networks. You will utilize a range of penetration testing tools and methodologies to simulate attacks and assess security measures, ensuring vulnerabilities are addressed efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Identify and exploit vulnerabilities in client systems.
• Conduct social engineering tests to assess employee preparedness.
• Utilize automated tools for efficient security assessments.
• Create presentations that effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Engage in ongoing education to stay informed about new threats.
• Actively participate in security forums and events.
• Support the development of security policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in penetration testing or cybersecurity roles
