Cybersecurity Consultant

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Cybersecurity Consultant to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. As a consultant, you will be responsible for assessing and enhancing our clients' security systems, providing expert advice, and implementing solutions to protect sensitive data from increasing cyber threats.

Responsibilities

• Identify and mitigate potential security breaches.
• Create and enhance documentation on security protocols.
• Perform risk evaluations and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with legal teams to ensure compliance with cybersecurity laws.
• Lead workshops to educate employees on cybersecurity awareness.
• Utilize security tools and software to monitor and protect client systems.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity roles

• Penetration Testing

Certifications

• CompTIA Security+
• GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)

Languages

• English: Fluent
