Job Description

As a Prepared Foods Team Member, you will play a crucial role in preparing and serving food items while maintaining high-quality standards. The successful candidate will ensure cleanliness and safety in the work area while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of food items, including salads, sandwiches, and hot dishes.
• Ensure all food items are prepared and delivered on time to meet customer demand.
• Fill in work orders and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Follow all safety and hygiene protocols rigorously.
• Support team members in food preparation activities and serve as a team player.
• Engage customers with a friendly attitude and provide assistance as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improvement.
• Conduct regular checks of food safety standards throughout the work area.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate or equivalent
• Food Safety Certificate

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year experience in food service or hospitality industry

Technical Skills

• Food preparation techniques
• Cash handling

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Team collaboration

Advantageous

• Experience in a similar role: Prior experience in food preparation or service is highly advantageous.
