Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Veterinarian to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating illnesses, performing surgeries, and providing preventive care. You will work closely with pet owners to educate them on pet health and wellness.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions.
• Manage hospital protocols and assist with inventory management.
• Conduct health checks and vaccinations.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary medical regulations.
• Foster positive relationships with clients and their pets.
• Train and mentor junior staff and interns.
• Engage in community outreach to promote responsible pet ownership.
• Collaborate in team meetings to discuss cases and share knowledge.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
• Additional certifications in specialized veterinary fields are a plus.

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in veterinary practice

• Anesthesia administration
