Job Description

As a Climate Change Policy Analyst, you will assess and analyse climate data to provide insights and recommendations to clients across various industries. Your work will involve developing climate models and collaborating with clients to tackle their climate-related challenges. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex findings effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Research and synthesize information from academic journals, government reports, and stakeholder input.
  • Utilise GIS software and data visualization tools to represent climate data findings.
  • Assist in public awareness campaigns regarding climate action and sustainability practices.
  • Implement project management methodologies to coordinate project timelines and deliverables.
  • Engage with government entities and NGOs to align on climate policies and initiatives.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and best practices across the team.
  • Design and conduct training for clients on climate change adaptation strategies.
  • Participate in grant writing for funding climate-related projects.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Climate Change, Statistics, or a related field
  • Master's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in climate analysis or related field
