Job Description

Join our fast-paced team as an Investment Banking Analyst in Cape Town. You will support senior bankers in performing market analysis, valuation, and due diligence for major transactions. We are looking for a candidate who thrives in a challenging environment and has a keen interest in investment banking.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed valuations using various methodologies including DCF and market comps.
• Assist in preparing pitch books and marketing materials for clients.
• Keep abreast of developments in the financial markets and investment trends.
• Support due diligence processes and documentation.
• Collaborate with different departments to facilitate the completion of transactions.
• Help maintain accuracy and integrity of financial data.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Finance
• MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years in an analytical finance role with investment exposure

Technical Skills

• Financial Analysis

• Teamwork

Certifications

• CFA Level II or III is preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent
