Job Description

We are seeking a passionate High School Science Teacher to inspire and guide students in grades 8-12. The ideal candidate will create engaging lesson plans and foster an inclusive classroom environment that promotes critical thinking and scientific inquiry.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report on student attendance and performance.
• Use technology effectively for lesson delivery and student engagement.
• Facilitate after-school science clubs and extracurricular activities.
• Engage with parents and community members to build strong relationships.
• Contribute to curriculum development and improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Science with a teaching degree
• Master's degree in Education or Science is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience teaching science subjects in a high school setting

Technical Skills

• SPSS
• Scientific software (e.g. MATLAB, Labview)

Soft Skills

• Strong organization skills
• Creative lesson planning

• Experience in curriculum development: Knowledge in developing and refining educational programs and assessments.
