UX/UI Designer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a creative UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for aesthetic design as well as a solid understanding of user-centered design principles. You will collaborate closely with developers and project managers to create exceptional digital experiences that meet user needs.

Responsibilities

• Engage with users to gather feedback and understand their needs.
• Translate complex ideas into simple and user-friendly designs.
• Develop visual assets for various platforms including web and mobile.
• Assist in the development of design presentations for client pitches.
• Ensure accessibility standards are met in all design outputs.
• Mentor junior designers and assist in their professional growth.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Related Field

Experience

• 3+ years in a similar role

• Sketch
• InVision

Soft Skills

• Team collaboration
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.: Experience with Scrum or Kanban teams.
• Experience working collaboratively with developers.: Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams.
