Job Description

We are on the lookout for an Auditor to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing practices, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. You will be responsible for examining financial statements, assessing risk, and providing insightful recommendations for improvement. This role offers an opportunity to work collaboratively with clients, enhancing their financial reporting and compliance processes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed audits on client financial documents.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of client's internal controls and risk management.
  • Prepare comprehensive audit reports and present findings to clients.
  • Advise clients on best practices for compliance and financial management.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to ensure high-quality audits.
  • Keep abreast of new regulations affecting the auditing profession.
  • Facilitate training sessions for junior staff and interns.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CA(SA) or similar certification is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in auditing or accounting
