Production Manager

Job Description

We are in search of a skilled Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing processes in Cape Town. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage production schedules, ensure quality controls, and drive continuous improvements. The successful candidate will collaborate with multiple teams to optimize our operations and enhance productivity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee production plans and budgets.
• Ensure that production timelines and quality standards are met.
• Implement training programs for team members.
• Liaise with suppliers and clients regarding production specifications and changes.
• Report to management on production efficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Utilize data analysis to inform production decisions.
• Lead brainstorming sessions to foster innovative ideas.
• Work on special projects as assigned by the Operations Director.
• Participate in quality audits and corrective actions.
• Manage and motivate the production team to achieve goals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
• Postgraduate qualification is an advantage

Experience

• 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment
