We are seeking a skilled Construction Manager to oversee our projects in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing construction teams, ensuring project timelines are met, while adhering to safety and quality standards. You will be pivotal in coordinating all aspects of construction from planning to execution.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate construction work activities.
• Develop and implement project plans according to specifications.
• Conduct quality control inspections and enforce compliance.
• Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams.
• Collaborate with local authorities to ensure project compliance.
• Manage environmental and safety protocols on site.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction trends and techniques.
• Participate in safety training and workshops.
• Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to.
• Assist with conflict resolution among teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Certification from a recognized construction management body is a plus

Experience

• 3 to 7 years of experience in the construction industry
