Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will engage in the design, analysis, and development of mechanical systems and components, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for engineering failures.
  • Analyze mechanical systems for performance and efficiency.
  • Implement design changes based on testing feedback.
  • Maintain project documentation in accordance with standards.
  • Liaise with clients to understand project expectations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.
  • Lead engineering projects from conception to completion.
  • Evaluate the technical capabilities of potential suppliers.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Master's degree in related field preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and analysis
