Job Description

We are seeking a Mixing and Blending Machine Setter, Operator, or Tender to join our leading manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating blending machines, ensuring quality finishes on metal surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Operate blending machines and ensure correct settings for production.
• Conduct regular checks to maintain quality assurance.
• Ensure equipment is clean and maintained to reduce downtime.
• Troubleshoot and rectify minor mechanical issues.
• Assist with training new operators in machine setup and operation.
• Document all operational activities on the systems provided.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet deadlines.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate or equivalent
• Certification in Polishing or related field advantageous

Experience

• No prior experience required, training will be provided.

Technical Skills

• Attention to detail
• Equipment handling

Soft Skills

• Good communication skills
• Problem-solving skills

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Intermediate

Advantageous

• Prior experience in a manufacturing setting: Having experience in any manufacturing role is a benefit.
• Knowledge of polishing machines and tools: Familiarity with different types of polishing and blending machines.
