Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will provide therapy to individuals facing various psychological challenges, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to promote mental health and well-being. You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring the best care for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose mental health disorders.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques to aid recovery.
  • Facilitate support groups and workshops for clients.
  • Collaborate on treatment plans with other health professionals.
  • Document treatment processes and outcomes clearly and accurately.
  • Guide and mentor junior psychologists and interns.
  • Contribute to research initiatives and clinical studies.
  • Engage with community resources to enhance client support.
  • Provide crisis intervention when necessary.
  • Promote a positive and supportive environment for clients.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Psychology or related field
  • Clinical Psychologist registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in clinical psychology
