Job Description

As a Heavy Equipment Supervisor, you will be at the forefront of our operations, overseeing the maintenance and operation of heavy machinery. You will manage a dedicated team of operators, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards while driving productivity and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and coordinate the maintenance and repair of heavy machinery.
• Monitor compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Implement training programs for operators focusing on safety and equipment usage.
• Lead regular safety meetings to discuss best practices and compliance updates.
• Document and analyze equipment performance metrics to identify improvement areas.
• Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and leadership.
• Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and timely.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for all equipment.
• Act as the primary point of contact for maintenance requests and escalations.
• Encourage adherence to safety protocols and promote a culture of safety within the team.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Heavy Equipment Maintenance or a related field
• Relevant additional certifications will be advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with heavy machinery, ideally in a supervisory capacity.
