Job Description

We are on the lookout for an AI Specialist to join our expanding team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing AI models and algorithms to solve complex business challenges. You will work collaboratively with our data scientists and engineers to design innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness in our projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop machine learning models and train them on diverse datasets.
• Perform data cleaning and validation to ensure quality inputs.
• Engage in troubleshooting and debugging of algorithms.
• Assess and enhance existing AI models for better performance.
• Prepare reports and technical documentation for AI projects.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss progress and strategies.
• Research new AI technologies and frameworks to apply in projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in AI, Data Science, Statistics, or a connected field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML project development
