Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Civil Engineer with a passion for sustainable design to join our firm in Port Elizabeth. You will lead diverse infrastructure projects, working closely with other engineers and clients to deliver exceptional results that meet modern engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of designs and specifications for civil engineering projects.
• Analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to plan projects.
• Supervise construction activities and ensure adherence to local building codes.
• Develop cost estimates and project schedules.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior engineers and support staff.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss progress, concerns, and solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineering registration is preferred

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering roles
