In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children, assisting in their daily activities, and supporting their emotional and developmental needs. Responsibilities

• Oversee children's daily activities and ensure their well-being.
• Engage in creative play and educational activities.
• Assist in creating a stimulating environment for learning.
• Document children's progress and share updates with parents.
• Develop and maintain a positive classroom environment.
• Provide guidance in developing communication and social skills.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.

Requirements

Education

• Matric (Grade 12) required
• Diploma in Early Childhood Development preferred

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience working with children

Technical Skills

• Creative Play Facilitation
• Health and Safety Compliance

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Child Protection Training: Training in safeguarding and child protection protocols.
