Creel Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Creel Operator to join our dynamic team. This role involves operating and maintaining automated creel systems that feed raw materials into our textile machinery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of textile manufacturing processes and possess excellent problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate creel machines to prepare threads for weaving.
• Load and unload yarn onto the creel machine.
• Monitor and adjust the creel machine to maintain proper speed and tension.
• Inspect threads for defects and ensure that they meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with other production staff to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Technical diploma in mechanical engineering or related field

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a creel operator or similar role in textile manufacturing
