Job Description

We are currently seeking a passionate Mental Health Professional to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various therapeutic techniques and a strong commitment to improving client mental health outcomes. You will be responsible for providing counseling, conducting assessments, and developing treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments to determine clients' mental health status.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques in practice.
  • Collaborate in treatment planning and review meetings.
  • Document client interactions and progress in therapeutic sessions.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as required.
  • Assist clients in developing coping strategies for stress and anxiety.
  • Promote mental health awareness within the community.
  • Participate in staff training and workshops.
  • Monitor trends in mental health and adapt practices accordingly.
  • Engage in continuous building of rapport with clients.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Mental Health Counselling or similar
Experience
  • 3-6 years of experience in the mental health field
