Job Description

Join our team as a Public Health Specialist where you will focus on promoting health education, disease prevention, and wellness programs. You will engage with the community to deliver effective health messaging and assess the success of health programs.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate health programs and suggest improvements based on outcomes.
• Build partnerships with local healthcare providers and organizations.
• Maintain current knowledge of health trends, research, and policies.
• Provide guidance and support to health research projects.
• Engage in community outreach and public speaking about health issues.
• Identify potential funding sources for health initiatives.
• Report on the effectiveness of health programs to stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in public health programs and community outreach

Certifications

• Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES)
