Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Environmental Consultant to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have experience in environmental assessments, sustainable practices, and regulatory compliance, playing a crucial role in helping clients achieve their environmental goals.

Responsibilities

  • Assessment and analysis of current environmental practices within client organizations.
  • Design and implement monitoring programs for environmental impact.
  • Coordinate and participate in public meetings regarding environmental projects.
  • Compile regulatory submissions and compliance documentation.
  • Advocate for sustainable practices within client organizations.
  • Foster relationships with regulatory agencies and stakeholders.
  • Prepare grant proposals for funding environmental initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Management or related field
  • Postgraduate qualifications advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in environmental consultancy or relevant position
