Job Description

We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join our vibrant team in Durban. This role requires expertise in developing and implementing machine learning models to solve real-world problems. The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of data processing and analytics, alongside a passion for artificial intelligence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy predictive models using Python and TensorFlow.
  • Collaborate closely with data engineers to ensure streamlined data pipelines.
  • Perform data preprocessing and feature engineering to enhance model performance.
  • Evaluate model performance and iterate based on feedback and emerging requirements.
  • Contribute to open-source projects and engage with the wider AI community.
  • Document processes and maintain clear records of model versions and results.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
  • Master's degree is a plus

  • 3-5 years of experience in machine learning or data science
