UX/UI Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to join our innovative team in Cape Town. In this role, you'll contribute to the design and development of user-friendly interfaces across various platforms, ensuring a seamless user experience. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and other designers to bring ideas to life.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts in developing innovative user experiences.
• Conduct interviews and surveys to gather user feedback.
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing results.
• Create and maintain design documentation and guidelines.
• Mentor junior designers, providing feedback and guidance on their projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in User Experience Design or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3-6 years of relevant UX/UI design experience

Technical Skills

• Sketch
• Prototyping Tools

Soft Skills

• Creativity
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Google UX Design Certificate
• Adobe Certified Expert (ACE)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies: Understanding of Agile processes and how they apply to design work.
• Experience with brand design: Experience in creating branding elements and guidelines.
