Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Sprinkling System Irrigator who will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with various irrigation techniques and a solid understanding of the equipment involved in the irrigation process.

Responsibilities

• Design and install irrigation systems tailored to client needs.
• Adjust watering schedules based on seasonal and climatic conditions.
• Conduct regular maintenance and updates of irrigation systems.
• Monitor water usage and strive for efficiency improvements.
• Ensure all irrigation practices align with sustainability initiatives.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members.
• Prepare reports on system performance and maintenance activities.
• Participate in professional development and training programs.
• Implement best practices in irrigation management.

Requirements

Education

• Matric or equivalent qualification
• Relevant training or certification in irrigation or agriculture is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in irrigation systems management.

Languages

• English: Fluent
• isiZulu: Basic
