Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Furnace, Kiln, Oven, Drier, and Kettle Operators to ensure efficient operations in our manufacturing plant. The ideal candidates will possess experience in managing drying and heating equipment, ensuring high-quality outcomes while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper operation of drying and heating machines, adjusting settings for optimal performance.
• Monitor drying processes, taking corrective actions as necessary to prevent damage to products.
• Conduct regular inspections on machinery to ensure smooth functioning.
• Maintain accurate records of production output and machine performance.
• Work alongside production staff to ensure timely completion of operations.
• Implement and adhere to health and safety standards.
• Assist in troubleshooting and repairs of equipment as needed.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss performance and improvements.
• Assist with training and mentoring new operators.
• Maintain inventory of supplies used in the drying processes.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Technical training or certification is a plus

Experience

• Previous experience in the textile industry is preferable
