Job Description

Health First Medical Centre is seeking a compassionate and skilled General Practitioner to join our team in Cape Town. Deliver comprehensive medical care, engage in preventative health initiatives, and collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals. Your role will be vital in diagnosing and treating patients, ensuring their overall well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Perform regular health check-ups and screenings.
  • Manage acute and chronic illnesses with appropriate treatment plans.
  • Offer health education programs to patients and the community.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal care.
  • Provide emergency care when necessary.
  • Assist in managing the clinical flow of the practice.
  • Participate in continuing education and training sessions.
  • Engage in patient follow-ups to monitor progress and outcomes.

Requirements

Education
  • MBChB or equivalent medical degree
  • Valid registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience as a General Practitioner
