Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Mining Engineer to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of mining operations and a demonstrated ability to implement effective engineering solutions. You will work closely with operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and productivity in all mining activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct monthly and quarterly financial closings.
• Assist in internal and external audit preparations.
• Coordinate with tax consultants for compliance and filing.
• Develop financial dashboards to present to senior management.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards.
• Provide support during annual budget preparations.
• Train junior accounting staff and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
• Professional accounting certification preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in a similar role
