Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Flotation Tender to operate and maintain flotation equipment, ensuring efficient processing of minerals. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a commitment to safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Run flotation tests to ensure optimal separation processes.
• Engage in process improvements and share insights with the team.
• Maintain communication with other departments for coordinated production efforts.
• Assist with stock taking of flotation chemicals and materials.
• Compile reports on production output and maintenance needs.
• Provide insights on potential upgrades or replacements of equipment.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Diploma in Mining, Metallurgy, or related field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in mineral processing or related fields

• Flotation Control Software

Certifications

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational
