Job Description

As the Supply Chain Manager, you will lead our logistics operations in Bloemfontein, focusing on building effective supply chain strategies. Your role will involve monitoring supply chain performance, liaising with suppliers, and striving for continuous improvement in capabilities and efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily supply chain operations to guarantee smooth functioning.
• Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate contracts.
• Implement best practices in inventory management.
• Monitor and analyze supply chain trends to make informed decisions.
• Lead cross-functional teams to achieve supply chain goals.
• Develop and implement training programs for staff.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts for supply chain costs.
• Engage stakeholders in continuous improvement efforts.
• Review and improve supply chain policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• MBA is a plus

Experience

• 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in supply chain management
