Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Design structural elements, considering both functionality and aesthetics.
  • Review and approve plans and calculations for large projects.
  • Monitor construction progress and provide solutions to challenges.
  • Facilitate communication with regulatory bodies regarding compliance matters.
  • Assist in the preparation of tenders and bid proposals.
  • Promote sustainable engineering practices on projects.
  • Document all phases of structural development for future reference.
  • Lead safety audits during the design and construction processes.
  • Advise on the selection of materials and technologies used in construction.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
  • Postgraduate qualifications preferred
Experience
  • 6+ years of professional experience in structural design and consulting
