Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to contribute to our projects in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will engage in all phases of civil engineering, from initial design through to project completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed engineering drawings and plans.
• Supervise construction activities and ensure adherence to design specifications.
• Work closely with clients to understand project requirements.
• Conduct feasibility studies and environmental impact assessments.
• Assist in the hiring and training of junior engineering staff.
• Manage project workflow and client relationships.
• Analyze data and prepare technical reports.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
• Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering with project management experience preferred

• Experience with Revit: Familiarity with Revit for Building Information Modeling (BIM) projects.
