Job Description

As a Public Health Specialist, you will play a critical role in analyzing health trends, advocating for health education, and fostering partnerships within the community to improve health outcomes. Your expertise will guide strategies to address specific public health challenges.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and improve upon existing public health programs.
• Act as a liaison between the health department and other organizations.
• Identify funding opportunities for public health projects.
• Plan and conduct health promotion activities within the community.
• Prepare educational materials for distribution to the public.
• Assist in developing health communication strategies.
• Conduct satisfaction surveys to measure community health program effectiveness.
• Observe and review health service delivery to ensure quality.
• Lead efforts to enhance community engagement in health-related initiatives.
• Support crisis management related to public health emergencies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or related field
• Master's degree in Public Health or similar highly regarded

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in a public health setting
