Job Description

As a Registered Nurse with us, you'll impact patients' lives by providing holistic care. Your responsibilities will include monitoring patient vitals, administering medications, and educating families and patients on health management.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine procedures such as catheterizations, wound care, and IV therapy.
• Coordinate patient care with the healthcare team.
• Facilitate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Engage in continuing education and maintain current licensure.
• Participate in research and evidence-based practice initiatives.
• Advocate for patient rights and ensure ethical care practices.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Nursing or equivalent qualification
• Experience in a specialized area (e.g., ICU, Pediatrics)

Experience

• 1+ years of experience in nursing, preferably in a hospital

• Clinical Procedures

Certifications

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Infection Control Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic

• Advanced Wound Care Certification: Specialized training in effective wound care management.
