Job Description

We're looking for an experienced General Practitioner to bring their expertise to our Cape Town practice. As a GP, you will manage patient care, perform physical exams, and collaborate with specialists when necessary to ensure optimal health outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive health evaluations and diagnostics.
  • Treat minor injuries and manage chronic illnesses.
  • Promote health education and disease prevention strategies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
  • Contribute to the development of practice policies and protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families.
  • Support patients in understanding their health conditions.
  • Participate in peer review and continuous education activities.
  • Work towards achieving the highest standards of patient care.

Requirements

Education
  • MBChB or equivalent medical degree
  • Postgraduate qualification in Family Medicine is advantageous
Experience
  • 5 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred
