Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing therapeutic interventions and assessments for individuals experiencing mental health issues. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support our clients' well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive assessments utilizing various psychological tests.
  • Facilitate therapy groups for specific issues such as anxiety, depression, or trauma.
  • Maintain ethical standards in client interactions and documentation.
  • Develop strategies to promote mental health awareness in the community.
  • Collaborate with social workers and other professionals on case management.
  • Engage in supervision and peer review to ensure quality care.
  • Assist in the training of interns or new team members.
  • Utilize telehealth options for remote therapy where applicable.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology
  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology is an advantage
Experience
  • 3+ years in a clinical or hospital setting
