Responsibilities

• Review and approve or decline insurance applications.
• Conduct risk analysis and statistical evaluations.
• Prepare policy recommendations based on applicant data.
• Maintain databases of records and underwriting files.
• Attend meetings with clients to review insurance needs.
• Develop strategies to improve underwriting efficiency.
• Monitor market trends to stay competitive.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to underwriting.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management or related field
• Additional certifications are advantageous

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in the insurance industry, with at least 2 years in underwriting
